Biography
Mr. Curwen is the managing shareholder of the law firm of Gierke Curwen, Dynan P.S. He has over 34 years of trial practice experience in insurance defense and coverage matters in state and federal courts in Washington, and the defense of tort claims, professional liability claims, product liability claims, construction site claims, the defense of civil rights claims, common carrier and transit defense, the representation of municipalities, government entities, and risk pools, errors and omissions defense for retail agents and brokers and managing general agents, and construction defect and construction inspector defense.

Admitted to Practice
Mr. Curwen is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts throughout Washington and is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Fifth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Curwen is a Rule 39.1 mediator appointed by the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
